Dorothy Meets E.T.
Like Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, what if you found yourself transported not just over the rainbow but beyond — to other worlds and other peoples? What practical information, ideas, or gifts might you find there to bring back home? Spiritual Practice, Occultism, and Extraterrestrial Intelligence: A Travel Guide for Beyond the Rainbow by Judy Kennedy explores the connections between extraterrestrial intelligence and spiritual practice in a historical context. Delightfully unique, yet practical and empowering, this comprehensive book dispels disinformation about politics, occultism, and conspiracy theories typical to this genre. “The Wizard of Oz Mysteries” is a unifying theme providing an enlightening backdrop, for the book is divided into sections that correlate to the story. The word “occult” simply means hidden. Occultism is a practical, engaged spirituality using practices not commonly known or understood. Yet supersensory awareness and seemingly supernormal abilities are expressions of energies lying dormant within us all. When the keys to these mysteries are freely shared, the truth about these practices is no longer occult. Modern science confirms the principles upon which these practices are based daily. The bridge between spirituality and modern science is one of many symbolic meanings of the rainbow. Venturing beyond the rainbow in the tradition of the Wizard’s Dorothy and other heroes a great secret about the esoteric mystery schools is revealed. The impact of our extraterrestrial ancestors on the evolution of these spiritual traditions is thoroughly explored. Finally, a new perspective combined with practical instructions facilitate the awakening of the “inner Dorothy” within us all. The combined academic expertise and personal experience of the author gives her an ability to see connections between things, people, and events not ordinarily discerned. Kennedy holds an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Music, Psychology, and Philosophy) with post-graduate research in music therapy, parapsychology, and psychophysiology. Since 1972 she has extensively trained in the Western mystery schools including affiliations with Wicca, Unity — Church of Esoteric Christianity, and Builders of the Adytum — Temple of Tarot and Holy Qabalah. Personal work and study since 1998 under a Dzogchen Master and Lama in the Eastern tradition of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism compliments her training. Finally, successful completion of the CSETI (Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Ambassadors to the Universe Research Traininghas provided her with the tools and experience required to truly navigate “beyond the rainbow” from home base — Earth. This stylistically unique, yet practical, empowering, and enjoyable tome is published by Paper Wings Publishing, LLC and immediately available anywhere books are sold. `WIZARD OF OZ' A SPACEY FLICK ABOUT E.T.S?
PHOENIX (Wireless Flash) -- "The Wizard Of Oz" airs Dec. 3 on
TNT, but here's a little-known fact: The flick isn't just
about witches and munchkins, it also supplies important
information about extraterrestrials.
Judy Kennedy, Phoenix-based author of "Spiritual
Practice, Occultism and Extraterrestrial Intelligence: A
Travel Guide For Beyond The Rainbow" (Paper Wings
Publishing), believes Oz demonstrates how we can see the
world "multidimensionally" and not just in black and white.
In addition, Kennedy says the Oz residents represent
different types of E.T.s and the key is that Dorothy conquers...
through her own power rather than relying on someone
else saving her.
Kennedy says that's why her favorite moment in the film
is when Glinda asks, "Are you a good witch or a bad witch?"
because, as she puts it, "Dorothy doesn't realize we're all
witches. For instance, Jesus was a witch."
While Kennedy believes the film teaches people how to
deal with extraterrestrials, she says the flying monkeys
don't represent aliens but the people who try and hide the
truth about them. And the Munchkins aren't aliens either --
they "simply represent a culture Dorothy isn't used to."
